Not convinced that using a medical staffing firm can improve your company and save you money at the same time. We will show you why making the move to contigency labor, especially in this economic landscape, is a smart choice!
Check out the new survery by the Staffing Industry Analyst that shows companies that use contigency staff save over 9% on labor costs.
Key Findings:
•There is near unanimous agreement among contingent staffing buyers that the use of contingent labor saves money—92% reported so.
•The median savings reported by buyers was 9% of total expense. The decline from last year’s reported savings of 17% may reflect reduced use of contingent labor, related to recessionary economic conditions.
•VMS users reported median savings of 9%, roughly double that ofthe 5% median reported by non‐VMS users. Notably, however, savings otherwise did not vary markedly between buyers as a function of primary method of managing theircontingent workforce. Buyers who primarily managed via their own VMS reported the same9% median savings as those primarily using a managed service provider or a master supplier.
•The greater the contingent share of the labor force reported by buyers, the greater percent total expense savings also reported. This relationship was maintained through the 15% level of contingent share of the labor force. However, beyond 15% contingent share of the labor force, there was no evidence of consistent increases in savings.
